City of York M2 vs Stokesley M1 (A) - 9-0 (L)
First game of the season for the salamanders away at York with an early afternoon kick off. The game started positive with well structured attacks from both teams but with minimal subs stokesley grew tired and a deflection into the D won York a short corner. Unfortunately a well placed drag flick slipped straight through the runners and the keepers 1-0 to city of York.

Positive start to the season for Stokesley 3s. Stokesley 3s made an excellent start to the new season with a convincing 4–0 victory over Thirsk 3s, delivering an encouraging performance and plenty of positives to take into the games ahead.

Stokesley began a new era with their first match under captain Dawson Clark and with Phil Welsh taking charge as coach. A changing of the guard is underway, and while the final scoreline made for difficult reading, there were enough early signs to suggest that the foundations for the season ahead are beginning to take shape.
