Training

Training takes place every Tuesday at Macmillan Academy and is open to players of all abilities across the club.
Whether you are new to hockey or competing at a higher level, our sessions are designed to develop skills, fitness, teamwork and match play in a welcoming and competitive environment.

 

Training Times
Juniors: 18:00 – 19:00
Third Team: 19:00 – 20:30
First & Second Teams: 19:00 – 21:00

All training sessions are included within the club membership fee, so there are no additional weekly training costs for members.

Summer Break
Adult training has now finished for the summer, although junior training sessions will continue as normal.
Details for 2026/2027 pre-season and winter training will be announced in due course, so please keep checking this page and our social media channels for updates.

 

New Members Welcome
We are always keen to welcome new players to the club, whether you are completely new to hockey or returning to the sport.

 

You are welcome to simply turn up to the relevant training session or contact us at for more information.

 

Your first training session is always free of charge for new members.​
