OUR CLUB
Stokesley Hockey club boasts a rich history and is dedicated to promoting the sport at all levels.
About us
Stokesley Hockey Club (Established 1971) have three senior teams playing in England Hockey’s Yorkshire and North East Hockey League. Our 1st XI competes in YNE North East Men's Division 1, the 2nd team in YNE North East Men's Division 2 and the 3rd team in the YNE North East Men's Division 4 Tees.

The club's men's teams encompass a range of skill levels, allowing players to participate at a level that suits their abilities and aspirations. The first team competes at a high level, showcasing exceptional talent and striving for success in league competitions and tournaments. The second and third teams provide opportunities for players at varying levels of experience, enabling them to hone their skills and enjoy competitive matches in a supportive and encouraging environment.

In addition to the men's teams, Stokesley Hockey Club takes great pride in its vibrant junior section. The club recognises the importance of nurturing young talent and fostering a lifelong passion for the sport. The junior section offers training sessions and matches for boys of different age groups, providing a structured pathway for their development. Qualified coaches and dedicated volunteers work together to provide a safe and enjoyable environment where young players can learn the fundamentals of hockey, improve their skills, and develop camaraderie with their peers. We have multiple junior teams playing at various age groups in the area as well as putting u10 and u12 teams into national cups in recent seasons.
The senior teams train on a Tuesday evening from 7-9pm at Macmillan Academy (TS5 4AG), junior training takes place also at Macmillan Academy (TS5 4AG) on Tuesday evenings, with u10s from 5.15-6pm and u13s from 6-7pm.
Junior sessions are also regularly held at Macmillan Academy on Sunday afternoons. We always hope to provide a friendly environment to play hockey and find the right mix between being competitive and sociable.

Stokesley Hockey Club's commitment to promoting inclusivity, sportsmanship, and teamwork is evident throughout the club. We actively engage with the local community, organising events, and fostering a sense of unity among players, parents, and supporters. The club's dedication to player development extends beyond the field, focusing on instilling values such as respect, discipline, and perseverance that transcend the game of hockey.

New players are always welcome, if you are interested in playing hockey at any level please get in touch via the form below, social media or email.
